The benefit associated with the use of perma lubricators in the food and beverage industry is two fold. The key reason for choosing the perma products is to maintain optimal lubrication rates to bearings and chains in order to extend equipment service life and increase reliability (particularly for 24 hour operations).
The second reason is associated with the avoidance of contact between lubricants and food products. perma lubricators can be filled with food grade lubricants to provide a lubrication solution where the rate of application is controlled and the volume of lubricant is contained.
