Port Cranes
As pressure on ports to increase container movements without additional infrastructure grows, so to does the importance of good lubrication practices, as there are fewer opportunities to apply grease manually and the consequences of equipment failure are greater.
Another factor which is leading to increased adoption of automatic lubricators at port operations is an increasing focus on safety. Manual greasing points are often not accessible from ground level and require that stairs and ladders be negotiated for the purpose of regular manual greasing. Automatic lubricators alleviate this problem and help deliver safety related improvements.
